ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาเป็นกลไกสำคัญและเป็นตัวแปรสำคัญในด้านการจัดการศึกษาให้มีคุณภาพและมี อิทธิพลสูงสุดต่อคุณภาพของผลลัพธ์ที่เกิดจากการบริหาร ดังนั้น ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาต้องมีภาวะผู้นำ มีความรู้เชิงทฤษฎี ความสามารถ มีทักษะ บทบาทหน้าที่ คุณธรรม และประสบการณ์ทางการบริหารการศึกษาให้ทันสมัยเหมาะสมกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกในศตวรรษที่ 21 หรือโลกยุคใหม่ เพื่อนำพาสถานศึกษาให้ประสบผลสำเร็จ สามารถสนองตอบต่อการแข่งขัน และทันสมัยเหมาะสมกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลก

Therefore, Principals must have leadership, theoretical knowledge, competence, skills, roles, morality and modern educational administration experience. Suitable for changing the world in the 21st century or the modern world. To bring educational institutions to success, able to respond to competition and modern, suitable for the changing of the world.
