Abstract

This research, entitled “The Development of an Innovative School Administration Model Using the DIDS Model to Strengthen Learning Capacity in the Context of a Medium-Sized School: A Case Study of Panjakham Prachasan School, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province”, aimed to 1) investigate the current conditions, problems, needs, and supporting factors related to innovative school administration; 2) develop and design an innovative school administration model using the DIDS Model; and 3) examine guidelines for implementation and evaluation in terms of appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness. The study employed a research and development approach using mixed methods. The quantitative sample consisted of 100 respondents, while the qualitative data were obtained from 15 key informants. Research instruments included a questionnaire and an in-depth interview form. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation, whereas qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis.


The findings revealed that the overall components of the innovative school administration model were at a moderate level. Three components were rated at a high level: direction setting for learning innovation and learning vision, leadership and participatory administration, and teacher development with collaborative learning among personnel. Meanwhile, the learning management process and learning environment, as well as external collaboration networks, were rated at a moderate level. The component of information systems, resources, and continuous development was rated at a low level. Qualitative findings indicated that the school had strengths in vision, leadership, and personnel commitment; however, it still faced major limitations in information systems, technology use, resource support, and systematic collaboration networks. Based on these findings, the researcher developed the DIDS Model consisting of four dimensions: Design, Implementation, Development, and Sharing. The model serves as a framework for innovative school administration suited to the context of medium-sized schools and aims to strengthen learning capacity in a sustainable manner.
